CANYONLANDS, ARCHES & MORE
Moab, Utah | November 11 - 15

Two incredible national parks & one stunning state park . . .
TWO INCREDIBLE NATIONAL PARKS & ONE STUNNING STATE PARK
Moab is such an amazing place to spend time at and photograph. Canyonlands, Arches, Dead Horse Point, and Castle Valley are located just outside of Moab, UT and are so incredibly diverse in their landscape . . . and from each other . . . it is mind-blowing. The overlooks, rock formations and colors are simply astonishing! And what sweet light
before sunrise and after sunset does to
these structures is just breathtaking.

We're going to cover a lot of ground as we will be going to both the Needles District and The Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands. Dead Horse Point State Park offers us stellar overlooks and Arches is like an alien landscape with scenery that
will stay in your memory forever.
Come experience and photograph these stunning locations and I will share with you how I
create my style of fine art imagery.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We will be visiting both regions of Canyonlands National Park. The north district is the Island in the Sky and the south portion is The Needles District. Both are very diverse in landscape and rock formations. We will also photograph Dead Horse State Park that overlooks the depths of Canyonlands and the Colorado River. Then, we will visit Arches National Park with its diverse landscape and unique arch formations.
Castle Valley is another amazing location we will visit. An area where over 150 movies have been shot with its monuments and unique rock formations. Classic southwest scenery yet breathtaking and stunning. All throughout the day the light changes drastically hence the varying colors of the rocks. It's pretty amazing and has to be seen to be believed.

There are many locations to photograph sunrises and sunsets at, including Dead Horse Point, Isle in the Sky Overlook, the Green River Overlook, Schafer Canyon, Fisher Towers and so
many other breathtaking locations.

During the day we will make a drive along the Potash Road and photograph petroglyphs and other ancient art. Plan to be impressed!

WHAT TO BRING
IN THE CLASSROOM
This is a hands-on opportunity so bring your computer! I have discovered that offering critique sessions during a Road Trip greatly increases your growth. Being able to shoot, critique, adjust and understand during a workshop is a very efficient
and rewarding way to learn.
ZOOM
I will offer a Zoom session a couple of weeks following the Road Trip. This is an ideal situation because we are all comfortable at home with our familiar computer setups. We will take a look at your imagery and I can offer critiques and other helpful and positive feedback. Then I will offer my
step-by-step process of howI interpret
and enhance my imagery.
YOUR INVESTMENT
For your investment you will have the opportunity to photograph some of the most incredible landscapes in the national and state parks system. There are a
lot of unique views and landscapes to photograph in the parks we will be visiting in Utah.
